Virginia Baseball Congress

The Virginia Baseball Congress is celebrating its 26th season in 2015. It is the premiere 25+ wood bat league in Richmond, Virginia.


The league is dedicated to providing a safe and exciting opportunity for 25+ individuals to play baseball in the Richmond area.

We had two tremendous games in our final today. The Nationals took Game 1 5-1 to set up a winner-take-all title. The Royals scored 4 early and were able to hold off the surging Nats in the bottom of the 7th to win 5-3.

Congrats to the Nationals for having a helluva tournament run.

And congrats to the Royals who capture their first VBC championship in their inaugural season.

It's shaping up to be great weekend for baseball as we enter the second weekend of our 2015 tournament. Congratulations to the Royals who have clinched a place in Sunday's championship game. Three teams are still alive and Saturday's games will determine who will face the Royals on Sunday.

Congrats to the Senators and Red Sox on their wins last night. Tonight is a showdown for first place between the Royals and Red Sox at Highland Springs HS at 7pm. In other action, the Braves take on the Nationals at Tucker HS at 7pm.

Tonight's game between the Braves and the Royals has been moved from Godwin HS to VARINA HS.

Tonight's game between the Red Sox and the Senators at Tucker HS is PPD and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on 8/2 at Richmond Christian.

In the only game of the weekend the Red Sox beat the Nationals 19-9 in 10 innings.
